"Tomorrow, Tuesday (July 7), the four Filipino citizens will be deported from Indonesia via Frans Kaisiepo Airport," Head of the Class II TPI Immigration Office Biak, Jose Rizal, stated in Biak on Monday.
Jose remarked that Indonesian immigration regulations allow for any foreign citizen who violates administrative immigration documents to be barred from re-entering the country.
The Biak Numfor Immigration Office will report the names of these foreign fishermen to the Directorate General of Immigration for inclusion on the blacklist.
Head of the Marine Fisheries Resources Monitoring Station, Muhammad Erwin, confirmed that the four Filipino crew members have completed their trial as witnesses in an illegal fishing case in Biak waters, making them eligible for deportation to their country of origin.
The four crew members were identified as Igot and Mario (both worked on a container ship), and Noel and Aci (crew members of a fishing boat).
