Jakarta (ANTARA) - Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya held a meeting with top security brass on Friday evening to discuss the prevailing security and political situation in Indonesia.

The meeting was attended by chief of the National Police, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo; head of the State Intelligence Agency (BIN), M. Herindra; Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad; and State Secretary Minister and Presidential spokesperson, Prasetyo Hadi.

“It was a productive Friday night with Deputy Speaker Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Minister Prasetyo Hadi, National Police chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and the head of BIN, Lt. General (retd.) Herindra,” Wijaya said when contacted in Jakarta on Saturday.

He informed that the meeting discussed the latest developments in the country, particularly in the spheres of politics and security, as well as a number of priority government programs.

The government is currently implementing several priority programs, including Free Nutritious Meals (MBG), Free Health Checks (CKG), and Sekolah Rakyat (SR).

In addition, President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to launch Red and White Village Cooperatives (Kopdes Merah Putih) simultaneously in various regions soon.

Earlier, Coordinating Minister for Food, Zulkifli Hasan, said that the launch is slated for July 21, 2025. The launch will also showcase 103 pilot cooperatives.

A total of 81 thousand Red and White Village Cooperatives have been established nationwide so far, with around 77 thousand cooperatives securing legal recognition.
