Director General of Primary and Community Health Maria Endang Sumiwi said on Tuesday that around 46 million people had participated in the program so far.
"The focus remains on dental health, nutrition, and body mass index," Maria said when asked about the most common conditions found during the health checks.
Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated on October 17 that the CKG program could cover up to 70 million people this year.
Head of the ministry's Public Communication and Information Bureau, Aji Muhawarman, said on Tuesday that CKG reflects the government's commitment to public health services.
He explained that screenings are conducted at 10,000 community health centers and 125,000 schools, including blood pressure, blood sugar, anemia, and nutrition assessments. The program also provides key data for national and regional health planning.
"We see extraordinary public enthusiasm. Free health checks are not just about examinations, but about building a culture of health awareness across all layers of society," Aji said.
He added that the CKG program raises public awareness of the importance of maintaining good health.
