During a visit to several rehabilitation centers managed by community organizations on Wednesday, November 12, BNN Chief Commissioner General of Police Suyudi Ario Seto directly inspected the facilities, services, and rehabilitation processes provided to residents.
"The Indonesian National Standard (SNI) 8807:2022 covers various key aspects of rehabilitation implementation, from institutional governance, rehabilitation human resources competence, service facilities, to monitoring mechanisms for recovery outcomes," said Commissioner General Eddy, as quoted from a statement confirmed in Jakarta on Thursday.
The visit included three rehabilitation centers located in Jakarta and Bogor, West Java, as part of BNN's commitment to strengthen synergy with community elements in the provision of rehabilitation services for drug users and ensure the implementation of professional and humane rehabilitation programs.
Through this visit, BNN Head Suyudi emphasized his commitment to strengthening the national rehabilitation system as part of the demand reduction strategy.
The visit was accompanied by BNN Rehabilitation Deputy Dr. Bina Ampera Bukit, Director of Strengthening Government Rehabilitation Institutions (PLRIP) BNN, Dr. Amrita Devi, and Acting Director of Strengthening Community Rehabilitation Institutions (PLRKM) BNN, Dr. Erniawati Lestari.
Suyudi stated that BNN is also continuing to build synergies with various stakeholders to ensure that drug users receive professional, sustainable, and recovery-focused rehabilitation services.
"This effort is a concrete step toward realizing Indonesia Bersinar (Clean of Drugs)," he remarked.
BNN believes that the war on drugs cannot be fought alone, so public support, awareness, and vigilance are crucial in breaking the chain of illegal drug distribution.
He urged drug users to not hesitate to seek help through rehabilitation services provided by BNN or its official partner institutions.
"Rehabilitation is the right step for recovery and returning to productivity in society," he added.
Information about rehabilitation centers and available services can be accessed through BNN's official website at www.bnn.go.id, the helpline at 184, or WhatsApp: 0812-2167-5675.
Suyudi reiterated BNN's commitment to providing accessible, professional, and recovery-oriented rehabilitation services.
