“I’ll set the target at Rp35 trillion. Ready?” Airlangga said during the opening ceremony of Harbolnas 2025 in Jakarta on Thursday.
This year’s Harbolnas, held from 10–16 December, is expected to contribute 30 percent of total e-commerce transactions. The event is also projected to boost economic activity in December, alongside the Every Product Is Cheap (EPIC) Sale and the Shop in Indonesia Only campaign.
“For December, our spending target is Rp110 trillion. We hope this will stimulate consumer purchases. We also expect to see an increase in demand for local products,” Airlangga added.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Indonesian E-commerce Association (iDEA) Hilmi Adrianto said Harbolnas has, over the past 13 years, become a symbol of the spirit, creativity, innovation, and resilience of Indonesian businesses.
“We are once again presenting Indonesia’s biggest online shopping festival with an even stronger spirit of collaboration. This momentum comes as the national economy remains stable, growing 5.04 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2025, providing a foundation for optimism,” Hilmi said.
He noted that more than 1,000 digital businesses have joined Harbolnas as participants, contributing to the development of the national digital economy ecosystem.
“As a strategic partner in driving the economy, ensuring healthy commerce, and enhancing digital and financial literacy, iDEA continues to support growth in Harbolnas transactions each year,” he said.
Hilmi added that Harbolnas transactions have increased by an average of 30 percent annually, thanks to strong collaboration among all relevant stakeholders.
“We extend our highest appreciation to the government, industry players, and thousands of businesses for their consistent support, especially in ensuring that Harbolnas remains a driver of consumer purchasing power and a strengthening force for the national digital ecosystem,” he said.
“With the large-scale promotions conducted simultaneously, we are not only boosting transactions but also giving the public more affordable access to the products they need,” he added.
