"The vice president will continue to coordinate with the coordinating minister for economic affairs Hatta Radjasa to observe and evaluate food resilience programs in nine provinces which have been rice barns so far," vice presidential spokesman Yopie Hidayat said here on Tuesday.
But Yopie failed to elaborate which provinces the vice president would visit tp monitor and evaluate food resilience programs.
Last Friday (January 21) the vice president visited Palembang, South Sumatra, to inspect a number of rice fields and to have a dialog with local farmers.
Yopie said the vice president and coordinating minister for economy would coordinate to monitor and evaluate food centers in a number of regions.
It meant that if the vice president had monitored a food center area, the coordinating minister for economy would do the same to another area.
"Thus the vice president and coordinating minister for economy will not monitor separate areas instead of one at the same time together," Yopie said.
