"The exports to Singapore had been the biggest compared to those to the eight export destinations according to the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS)," BPS chief Dyan Pramono Effendi said Wednesday.
Of the total Jambi exports to several countries last year, 1.44 billion US dollars, also those to Singapore and Malaysia were big respectively reaching 304 and 628 million tons.
Jambi`s exports to Japan last year also reached 163 million US dollars with a volume of 53.80 million tons, followed by China with 151 million US dollars and a volume of 383 million tons.
The exports to the United States reached only 85.51 million dollars with a volume of 2.8 million tons, to Australia 21.03 million dollars and 30.64 million tons, to Taiwan 9.7 million dollars and 9.9 million tons, to Korea 8.78 million dollars and 8.9 million tons, to Germany 8.64 million dollars and 3.1 million tons.
