"We are still working hard."Jakarta (ANTARA News) - National Police Chief General Timur Pradopo said the parcel bomb blast that occurred in East Jakarta on Tuesday was still being investigated.
Therefore, he called on the public here on Wednesday to be patient. "Please be patient. We are still working hard and the process is still ongoing," he said.
Timur promised the police would explain the case to the public when it was uncovered.
A parcel bomb exploded at Radio News Agency 68H on Jalan Utan Kayu, East Jakarta, at around 4.05pm on Tuesday. The parcel was intended for Ulil Abshar Abdala, an Islam Liberal Network figure.
Another parcel bomb was also found on the same day intended for the chief of the National Narcotics Agency, Commissioner General Gories Mere and another one for the chief of the Pancasila Youth organization, Japto Soerjosoemarno, in Ciganjur.
The blast in Utan Kayu hurt three people including two policemen who were examining the parcel. The three are currently being treated at a hospital.
