Jakarta (ANTARA News) - President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono here Wednesday received Fijian Prime Minister Joasaia Voreqe Bainimarama in a courtesy call at the Merdeka Palace.

The Fijian prime minister and his entourage arrived at the palace at 2 on Wednesday afternoon and were received by President Yudhoyono.

On the occasion the Indonesian head of state was accompanied by Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Djoko Suyanto, Foreign Affairs Minister Marty Natalegawa, Minister/State Secretary Sudi Silalahi, Agriculture Minister Suswono, and Culture and Tourism Minister Jero Wacik.

The courtesy call of the Fijian prime minister was the second agenda to be attended by President Yudhoyono on Wednesday.

Earlier in the day the president attended the inauguration of new Constitutional Judge Anwar Usman.

Anwar Usman replaced Arsyad Sanusi who resigned last February 2011.

Arsyad resigned after an honorary council found him guilty of violating code of ethics after his family members met with parties who filed a legal case in the Constitutional Court.
