Head of the information section of the Garut district administration, Dikdik Hendrajaya said that the local people who searched for Kokom with makeshift tools, found the body deep in the mud.
The victim was then evacuated and laid in state in her house prior to her burial in the local public cemetry.
The landslide as high as 70 meters and 20 meters wide which happened in the hilly area after heavy rain, immediately fell upon the villager, who was standing under a cliff.
In the meantime, Garut regent, Aceng HM Fikri asked all the local community to raise their nawareness especially in the natural disaster prone-areas, let alone during the heavy rains.
