The secretary of the party`s advisory board, Amir Syamsuddin said when announcing the decision here on Monday evening that the decision was taken to curb the negative reporting.
"The negative reporting on Muhammad Nazaruddin in the past few weeks has placed the Democrat Party in an unfavorable position and hindered Muhammad Nazaruddin`s work," he said.
Amir was accompanied by advisory board members EE Mangindaan and Jero Wacik when making the announcement.(*)
