"We are happy for having met and exchanged views with Sehat Sutardja. He shared with us about technology being developed by Marvell. He wishes to help build IT in Indonesia. For this, I was invited to the United States," the minister said after the meeting.
The US information and technology (IT) expert was accompanied by his wife Weili Dai and a software expert during the meeting with the minister.
They met on the sidelines of the two-day World Economic Forum (WEF) held here from Sunday.
Marvell Technology Group which was established with Sehat Sutardja and his wife is the third best semi-conductor company in the world.
In 2007, Forbes named Sehat Sutardja as one of the ten richest men in the United States at the age of less than 40 years.(*)
