Medan, North Sumatra (ANTARA News) - The district court in Medan, North Sumatra, sentenced Zumirin alias Sobirin to seven years for his involvement in the CIMB Niaga Bank robbery in Medan last year.

Chief judge Muhammad Nuh read the sentence which was three years lighter than the prosecutor`s demand here on Tuesday.

In the robbery on August 18, 2010 a police officer was killed and two bank security guards were wounded while the bank lost Rp365 million. (*)
