"All wanted suspects who have been reported to Interpol including N (Neneng Sri Wahyuni) will be pursued with optimum efforts," he said here on Monday.
He said the police were now waiting for feedback with regard to the hunt for graft suspect Neneng Sri Wahyuni who is also the wife of graft suspect Muhammad Nazaruddin.
"All efforts linked to investigation have been coordinated," he said.
The police recently issued a red notice for Neneng Sri Wahyuni who is now believed to be abroad wanted for her alleged involvement in a corruption case.
Nazaruddin meanwhile was caught in Cartagena, Colombia on August 7 after on the run for more than two months. He fled to Singapore a on May 23 or a day before the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) applied for a travel ban for him in connection with alleged involvement in a corruption case.
After questioning by the KPK recently Nazaruddin confessed to the media he had been guilty and ready to be sentenced without trial for many years in exchange for the safety of his wife and children.
For that he has sent a letter to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono who has replied that he would never intevene in his case and ask him to follow the legal process of his case and reveal everything he knows.
Nazaruddin from his hideout has made controversial statements accusing some members of his Democrat Party of being involved in his case.
As for the safety of his wife and children President Yudhoyono said in his letter that every citizen`s safety is always assured but it does not mean that a person involved in a criminal case would be protected.
