"We will summon Governor Jokowi to clarify the problem," member of the House Commission IV Sudin said in a press statement released on Tuesday.
But he did not specify when exactly the House will summon Jokowi.
He warned real estate developer PT Muara Wisesa Samudra that will develop the housing complex against disrupting fishermen`s means of livelihood.
Neither must the project disrupt the cooling system of Muara Karang thermal power plant which is close to the project. If the power plant malfunctioned it might disrupt power supplies to Java and Bali, he said.
"The project must not cause flooding," he said.
He suggested that the Jakarta administration will be selective in issuing permits to real estate developers, particularly those which do not care about the environment.
"In running their business, real estate developers must apply the principles of good governance by securing a permit and complying with the regulation. They must not market houses before receiving a permit from the local government," he said.(*)
