Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is questioning four lawmakers as witnesses in the driving license simulator graft case with suspect police Insp. Gen. Djoko Susilo.

"They are questioned as witnesses in the case of Djoko Susilo," KPK`s chief for Information Division Priharsa Nugraha said here on Thursday.

The four lawmakers are Bambang Soesatyo and Azis Syamsudin of Golkar party, Herman Heri of PDI-Perjuangan, and Benny K Harman of the ruling Democratic Party.

Azis, Herman and Bambang had earlier been implicated in the simulator case by another witness Muhammad Nazaruddin, former treasurer of Democratic Party.

"I was questioned over the simulator case in which Aziz Syamsudin, Herman Heri, Bambang Susatyo were also involved," Nazaruddin said earlier.

Nazaruddin already convicted and serving seven year jail term for graft in the construction of an athlete house in Palembang are facing a number of other graft cases including the simulator case.

The chief suspect in the simulator case is Djoko Susilo, former head of the Police Traffic Corp.

KPK already confiscated 11 houses of Djoko located in various cities in the country for which the two start general is charged with money laundering.

A number of other suspects have also been nabbed by KPK including his former deputy Brig.Gen. Didik Purnomo and two civilians.

KPK estimated that the state suffered a loss of Rp100 billion in the procurement of the driving lciense simulators worth Rp196.8 billion.
