KPK Spokesman Johan Budi said here on Sunday that the raid was carried out by 20 KPK investigators in the room of Johanes who is now acting chief of the SKK-Migas.
He said that the investigators also searched a number of rooms of SKK-Migas officials on four separate floors of the same building in Jalan Gatot Subroto.
The rooms of Gerhard Rummeser, SKK-Migas deputy chief for business support, and of Iwan Ratman, the head of SKK-Migas`s Operation Control Division, were also examined by the KPK investigators.
Other rooms investigated included those of the head of SKK-Migas`s Chain Supply Division Control and the head of SKK-Migas`s Project Management Division.
"The KPK did not confiscate money but documents," Johan said.
Earlier, the KPK investigators have also conducted examinations on three locations namely in the office of S (Simon Tanjaya), the office of the secretary general of the Energy Ministry and Mineral Resources (ESDM) and the office SKK-Migas.
During the searches conducted from Wednesday (Aug. 14) to Thursday (Aug. 15), the investigators confiscated US$200 thousands from the office of the secretary general of the ESDM.
Johan said he could not yet conclude whether the money came from suspect Simon Tanjaya.
The KPK has named former SKK-Migas chief Rudi Rubiandini and Devi Ardi (of a private firm) as suspects in taking bribes in connection with the SKK-Migas alleged corruption case.
Simon Tanjaya of the Kernel Oil Pte Ltd was named a suspect in giving the bribes.
Johan mentioned earlier that Rudi and two private entrepreneurs, who are known by their initials - A and S, have been arrested.
"When they were arrested at the house at 10:30 p.m., investigators confiscated US$400 thousand. More cash, in US dollars, was found elsewhere, but this sum is still being counted," Johan explained.
Reports had noted that Rudi was arrested with two other men, officials of foreign oil company Kernel Oil, who are suspected of offering the bribe, with a total sum of US$700,000 in their possession.(*)
