Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The second largest Muslim community in Indonesia, Muhammadiyah, will launch its own television channel on November 18 to coincide with the organizations 101st anniversary.

"The television network, to be called TVMu, will broadcast programs containing Islamic views and education," Muhammadiyah Chairman Din Syamsuddin said here on Friday.

Viewers at home can watch the new television channel using satellite Telkom1 frequency 3480 or streaming live on the internet at UseeTV.com.

According to Din, the tv channel will broadcast programs such as news, discussions, health programs and recordings by famous preachers in Indonesia, such as Buya Hamka.
