"The television network, to be called TVMu, will broadcast programs containing Islamic views and education," Muhammadiyah Chairman Din Syamsuddin said here on Friday.
Viewers at home can watch the new television channel using satellite Telkom1 frequency 3480 or streaming live on the internet at UseeTV.com.
According to Din, the tv channel will broadcast programs such as news, discussions, health programs and recordings by famous preachers in Indonesia, such as Buya Hamka.
