Jakarta (ANTARA News) - Indonesias opposition party figure has disclosed some terror attacks that the party has received.

Tjahjo Kumolo, the Secretary General of the Indonesia Democratic Party Struggle (PDIP) stated here on Thursday that the partys General Chairperson, former President Megawati Soekarnoputri has recently been followed by an unknown person, while bugging devices have also been found at the house of its top cadre, Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo.

"We are being terrorized. Imagine, Ibu (Madam) Megawati has been followed and yesterday, during an operation, we found three bugging devices at the residence of Pak (Mr) Jokowi (Joko Widodo)," he noted at the launch of a book on the map of 2014 political battles.

Also speaking on the occasion was the lecturer of political communication and media studies of state Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic University, Burhanuddin Muhtadi.

Tjahyo explained that an unknown person had entered Megawatis house. "When asked who he was, he replied that he wanted to use the toilet," he stated, describing the terror incident on Megawati.

Regarding Jokowi, he pointed out that he had received a report about the bugging two weeks ago.

He added that he had also seen a number of activities held by certain parties aimed at undermining Jokowi.

"They have even gone as far as Solo (Central Java where Jokowi was former Mayor) to collect information about him," he elaborated.

Tjahyo admitted that he already knows who conducted the intelligence operations. He however declined to reveal any information about them, saying, "It is for our internal knowledge."

Burhanuddin Muhtadi meanwhile pointed out that as a political party whose popularity is rising to potentially become one of the favorites to win the next general elections this year, PDIP certainly has attracted a lot of interests.

So, it is not impossible for what Tjahyo has indicated, to happen, added.

"Everyone from home or abroad, from rival and friendly parties, all wish to have first-hand information," he explained.
