"The 14 countries are the United States, the United Kingdom, Thailand, Spain, the Netherlands, Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, Mauritius, the Philippines, South Africa, France, China and Malaysia," Head of the North Sulawesi trade and industry office Jenny Karouw said, here, Thursday.
North Sulawesi exported 5.23 million tons of frozen fish in Q3 and earned US$21.30 million, she said.
The United States, the main destination, imported 2.02 million tons and contributed US$10.82 million to the province.
Britain was in the second place with 1.99 million tons of frozen fish worth US$6.94 million.
In Q3 2015, North Sulawesi exported a total of 30 commodities to 64 countries.(*)
