"We chose to operate in Indonesia as the country has human resources with qualification needed by the company," Chairman of Celxpert Energy Corporation, Steve Huang, said here on Wednesday.
The factory of the company has been built at cost of US$20 million . The factory has a production capacity of 5,000 units of batteries per day for cellular phones.
The company plans to produce batteries with solar energy starting with a capacity of 200 units per day to support development of infrastructure in Java.
Celxpert Energy Indonesia cooperates with Columbia Group Indonesia, which has operated for 20 years in electronic industry in Indonesia. Under the cooperation, Columbia Group Indonesia will function as the official distributor for the battery products of PT Celxpert Indonesia. (AS/H-YH)
