Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) will auction off state spoils in the case of Ahmad Fathanah and Heru Sulaksono on Wednesday (Oct 10).

"The KPK, by means of the Jakarta III State Assets and Auction Service Office (KPKNL), will conduct an auction employing the" e-Auction Open Bidding "method by using an auction application against the booty in the case of Ahmad Fathanah and Heru Sulaksono on Wednesday (Oct 10), " the antigraft body spokesman, Febri Diansyah, noted in Jakarta on Monday.

Diansyah explained that 20 items to be auctioned comprised gold studs, rings, and bracelets with diamond and pearl ornaments, watches, and cars.

"Interested parties can see and examine the relevant objects on display at the KPK office, Jalan Kuningan Persada Kav 4, South Jakarta, prior to the auction on weekdays, on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. local time," Diansyah stated.

Fathanah is convicted of providing bribes for handling beef import quotas at the Ministry of Agriculture and for money laundering.

Sulaksono was convicted of corruption in the construction of the Sabang Unloading Pier, Aceh Province, in the 2006-2011 Budget Year.

The KPK had, on Wednesday (Oct 3), successfully auctioned two assets from convicted bribery in the purchase and sale of gas for a power plant in Gresik and East Gili, Fuad Amin, with a total value of around Rp9.036 billion.

The two assets include a land measuring an area of 5,892 square meters, along with a building built on it located at Burneh Village, Burneh Subdistrict, Bangkalan District, East Java.

The second asset is also in the form of a plot of land measuring an area of 10,165 square meters located in Burneh Village, Burneh Subdistrict, Bangkalan District, East Java.
