Jakarta (ANTARA News) - The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) recorded the inflation rate in November 2018 at 0.27 percent, BPS Head Suhariyanto stated at a news conference in Jakarta on Monday.

"The inflation rate in November 2018 is lower than that of October. In previous years, the November inflation rate was usually higher as the year-end approaches," he noted.

Thus, the calendar-year inflation for the January-November 2018 period was recorded at 2.49 percent, while year-on-year inflation had reached 3.23 percent.

During this period, out of the 82 Consumer Price Index cities, 70 cities experienced inflation, and 12 cities contributed to deflation.
