Banda Aceh, Dec 28 (ANTARA News) - Acting Governor of Aceh Nova Iriansyah claimed that the Aceh Budget Revenue and Expenditure (APBA) of 2019 had been signed by the Indonesian Minister of Home Affairs (Mendagri).

"Yesterday, the 2019 APBA was verified and signed by the Minister of Home Affairs," said Acting Governor of Aceh Nova Iriansyah in Banda Aceh on Friday.

He said the Minister of Home Affairs signed the APBA for 2019 in less than six working days, as agreed by the Aceh government and the Aceh People`s Representative Council (DPRA).

The discussion between KUA-PPAS and the DPRA took place smoothly and all factions in the DPRA established the 2019 APBA Qanun on Monday, 17 December 2018, amounting to Rp17 trillion more, in accordance with the mandate of Law Number 17 of 2003 and Permendagri Number 17 of 2006.

Eight factions in the DPRA, namely the Aceh Party Faction, the Golkar Party Faction, the Nasdem Party Faction, the Democratic Party Faction, the National Mandate Party Faction (PAN), the United Development Party Faction, and the Gerindra-PKS Faction agreed to the APBA 2019 with a composition of Rp15,435 trillion and expenditure of Rp17,016 trillion.

"I hope with the current atmosphere, development in 2019 will get support from the public," the Acting Governor of Aceh said.

The Acting Governor of Aceh stated that with the signing of the APBA 2019 by the Minister of Home Affairs, it would provoke better public participation in the coming year.

"I believe that in 2019, development can be carried out in a participatory manner. We want Aceh to be peaceful and prosperous through a government that is clean and fair and serviceable," Iriansyah added.
