How is the ammunition round?Kalianda, S Lampung (ANTARA) - Chief of the National Police General Tito Karnavian on Monday (May 6) conducted an inspection of the South Lampung Police Resort Station that got engulfed by fire four days back.
The National Police chief, in the company of Lampung Provincial Police Chief Inspector General Purwadi Arianto, Lampung Governor M. Ridho Ficardo, Chief of the Lampung Provincial Police's Public Relations Adjunct Senior Commissioner Zahwani Pandra Arsyad as well as ranks and files, arrived at the police resort station at around 11:15 a.m. local time on Monday.
Chief of the South lampung Police Resort Adjunct Senior Commissioner M. Syarhan and his ranks and files greeted the National Police chief and his entourage following their arrival.
Shortly after shaking hands with the chief of the South Lampung police resort and his ranks and files, General Karnavian and his entourage headed to the scene where the fire had broken out.
"How is the ammunition round?" Karnavian questioned Syarhan.
Syarhan revealed that the fire broke out at a time when the South Lampung police resort personnel were engaged in conducting activities. The fire later spread to one of the rooms at the police station.
"We were conducting activities when the fire reached one of our rooms," he remarked.
Almost 90 percent of the main buildings of the police resort station had been destroyed by the fire believed to have broken out due to a short circuit. EDITED BY INE
