Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Industry Ministry has ensured that the industry sector will continue its operations to maintain the supply chain to meet the basic requirements of the public by applying the health protocol to contain COVID-19 transmission.

"The central and local governments harbor a common spirit to maintain economic activities while concurrently applying the health protocol to cut the chain of COVID-19 transmission," Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita noted in a statement here on Tuesday.

Kartasasmita spoke of the circular letter issued by the ministry to the country’s industry operators pertaining to the operation of factories during the duration of the health emergency related to COVID-19.
