"Health workers and hospital staff that got exposed to COVID-19 come from the Probolinggo District Health Office, Waluyo Jati Kraksaan Hospital, Tongas Regional Hospital, and Sumberasih community health center (puskesmas)," spokesperson of the local task force Dr Anang Budi Yoelijanto stated here on Wednesday.
Currently, several of them have recovered, and many others are undergoing quarantine at hospitals or in an isolation home, and their health condition is good.
"Eight are undergoing isolation at the Waluyo Jati Kraksaan Regional Hospital, one at the Tongas Regional Hospital, and the rest in an isolation home in Probolinggo District," he noted.
They await the results of the second or third swab tests.
Yoelijanto appealed to those recovering from COVID-19 to undergo routine medical check-ups at puskesmas, especially if they had complaints. He also reminded the public to continually adhere to physical distancing protocols.
"Those who have recovered should not assume that they cannot fall sick anymore. They can contract other infections that are new and different. Hence, those, who have recovered, still have to implement health protocols," he added.
