He observed some of the rooms in the hospital, such as the intensive care unit, the neonatal intensive care unit, and other rooms, as seen on the Presidential YouTube channel.
"I am very grateful to the SOE Minister, to Pertamina, who prepared the Pertamina Modular Hospital with the capacity of 305 beds, complete with ICU and NICU, even a special ICU for kids, babies, and moms, so they can provide healthcare service to moms and kids," the President said.
He hoped that the hospital can be utilized by the general public.

"We also have to be grateful that this morning, figures indicate the pandemic in Java and Bali, have started to decline, especially in Jakarta," he pointed out.
It could be observed from the hospital's bed occupancy rate, he said.
"I saw the bed occupancy rate, I saw every day, every night, and this morning. Maybe six to eight weeks, the bed occupancy rate in Athlete Village reached 90 percent. This morning I received information that the bed occupancy rate is 25 percent. But we all must stay alert at all times," he informed.
PT Pertamina Bina Medika Indonesia Healthcare Corporation will dispatch 800 healthcare workers to operate the Pertamina Modular Hospital.
The Pertamina Modular Hospital has its own uniqueness, Nicke Widyawati from Pertamina said.
"Mister President just observed Modular Hospital directly, which God willing, can be finished in 30 days. The hospital is meant for COVID-19 handling, with 2/3 of the 305 beds complete with ICU," Widyawati elaborated.

It could also handle COVID-19 patients such as pregnant women, children, and babies, thus the completion with a delivery room and a children's ICU.
"The hospital is also designed with good ventilation and an open area to get adequate sunlight so that patients or healthcare workers do not feel locked up in a room. This is important in COVID-19 handling," she added.
Other facilities include a dialysis chamber and a recreational room, where patients can work out, bask under the sunlight, and with wide windows, the families of the patients can greet them from outside.
According to the COVID-19 Task Force data per August 5, 2021, Indonesia has reached 3,568,331 cases, with 35,764 more recorded in the last 24 hours , and currently, there are 518,310 active cases.
Some 39,726 patients made a recovery, taking the recovery tally to 2,947,646.
Meanwhile, 1,739 people succumbed to COVID-19, bringing the death toll to 102,375.
