The problem may be only regarding human resources.Jakarta (ANTARA) - Vice President Ma'ruf Amin has said he expects the establishment of Public Service Malls (MPPs) to be completed in all districts and cities of Banten province by the end of 2022.
The attempt is aimed at providing easy, cheap, fast, and affordable public services and to expedite bureaucratic reform in Indonesia, he explained in Serang city, Banten province, on Thursday.
"I think there will be not too many problems on the establishment. The problem may be only regarding the human resources," he said after chairing the MPP Socialization and Empowerment of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) meeting at the Banten Governor’s Office on Thursday.
For establishing the MPPs, local governments do not need to build new facilities and infrastructure, Amin pointed out.

Local governments can simply utilize existing infrastructure, he said. They only need to provide adequate Internet connectivity, he added.
"The services use an online platform, the Online Single Submission (OSS)," the Vice President said.
The MPPs must be able to provide quality public services to the community in licensing and non-licensing processes, he added.
In addition, MPPs must provide services to state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and regional government-owned enterprises (BUMD), Amin said.
Banten Governor Wahidin Halim assured that his administration will continue to develop the province’s One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP) system and set up MPPs in all districts and cities, in accordance with the Vice President’s directive.
“Actually, the PTSPs have served quite quickly. Still, we are developing them into MPPs. So far, there are no problems," he said.
Currently, out of eight districts and cities in the province, there are only three that have MPPs, he noted. The MPPs are located in Pandeglang district, South Tangerang city, and Tangerang city. The one in Tangerang City is still waiting to be inaugurated.
