The acceleration of digital technology encourages the people to utilize it as best as they can in order to yield positive results, she remarked.
One of the aspects that the ministry focuses on is school digitalization to increase the education quality.
"Digital role became a transformation medium for learning service that should be carried out," she emphasized.

However, several areas still need to be worked on, including equalizing information and communications technology access and facilities, so that all children in Indonesia can have the same learning opportunity.
During the pandemic, children had to conduct online long-distance learning to minimize the risk of virus spread.
However, not every child has adequate hardware facilities and internet access to smoothly follow the learning process.
According to the evaluation result on the condition of education during the pandemic, a drop in learning achievement or learning loss occurred due to the access gap.

Learning loss is an academic decline in students that relates to prolonged gap or poor education process.
According to Wahyuningsih, the effort to expedite the quality of learning in an equitable manner in Indonesia cannot be made by the government alone but requires the assistance of various parties, including the private sector.
"Producing quality human resources should start with collective efforts made by the government, private sector, and people. This needs support and contribution to simultaneously improve the quality of education," she remarked.
On the other hand, she underlined the importance of forming the younger generation's character in order to have a good moral compass as technology develops.
