"There are 200 MSMEs exhibited physically and 500 MSMEs exhibited digitally," he noted during the opening of the 2022 KKI here on Friday.
The 2022 KKI was themed "Indonesian MSMEs Rise through Digitalization and Globalization toward Sustainable Economic Growth."
For this exhibition, BI has synergized with 13 ministries and institutions, five business associations, 26 industries, banks, payment system providers, exporters, and market places to encourage the recovery of MSMEs from the impact of COVID-19.
MSMEs are also encouraged to conduct digitalization to facilitate the process of marketing, selling, and financial transactions, such as through QRIS and BI-Fast.

Some 17.2 million merchants have been connected to QRIS ,with MSMEs accounting for 90 percent of them. Meanwhile, BI-Fast already has 52 member banks since it was first unveiled in December 2021, Warjiyo revealed.
"Let us support BI-Fast for a faster payment process for MSMEs that do not need to wait for days, so that the cash flow can continue to increase. This marks the revival of Indonesian MSMEs," he remarked.
BI also continues to encourage MSMEs that had been curated within the 2022 KKI to export their products by holding business meetings and export financing.
BI continues to do this by holding MSMEs' trade promotional events through the bank's six representative branches across the world, he stated.
During the event's opening, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin lauded BI's efforts to develop MSMEs through three policy pillars: corporatization, capacity bolstering, and financing access expansion.
He expects that through the 2022 KKI, MSMEs across Indonesia will become more motivated in producing breakthroughs that can improve their products' quality to meet the market's demand.
