Jakarta (ANTARA) - Youngsters, as the nation's successors, play a strategic role in developing culture, according to the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture.

The commemoration of Youth Pledge Day should be considered as the revival of the young generation to become the nation's successors that are capable of realizing the dream of the nation's founders.

"This can be done by realizing the culture development program to realize a happy Indonesia based on cultural diversity that provide knowledge, peace, and prosperity," the ministry's official Didik Suhardi said here, Friday.

Meanwhile, the ministry's official, Aris Darmansyah Edisaputra, stated that the government continues to strengthen vocational education to prepare quality human resources.

This is undertaken through revitalization as described in Presidential Regulation No. 68 of 2022 on Vocational Education and Vocational Training Revitalization.

"Various quality human resources preparation programs continue to be done. Despite this, various policies that are being prepared should be supported by the active participation of the public, specifically the younger generation," he noted.

The ministry has encouraged members of the current younger generation to continue to develop themselves and make all-out efforts in improving their self-competence.

"Realizing Golden Indonesia 2045 necessitates thorough preparation and the people's active role. Optimal efforts are expected to create quality Indonesian human resources with strong character," he remarked.
