Denpasar, Bali (ANTARA) - State-Owned Electric Company PT PLN (Persero) organized the 2022 Heads of ASEAN Utilities/Authorities-Japan Electric Information Center (HAPUA-JEPIC) international symposium on November 23-24, 2022, in Bali to encourage the electric vehicle ecosystem.

The international symposium is realized due to the collaboration between HAPUA and JEPIC for the exchange of knowledge related to electricity, PLN Education and Training Center's General Manager, Rio Adrianto, stated here, Wednesday.

"We expect that this event can encourage the development of the national electric vehicle ecosystem to reach the net zero emission target by 2060," he remarked.

PLN was appointed as the event's organizer. The 2022 HAPUA-JEPIC international symposium is held in a hybrid format with the theme of "Accelerating Electric Vehicles Toward Net Zero Emission."

The meeting discusses several latest developments related to electric vehicles, charging stations, and other related technologies.

It also highlights 16 research results from the PLN group and energy companies from Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
