The tree planting activity is a manifestation of PNG's social and environmental responsibility in a sustainable way.
Bandarlampung (ANTARA) - State-owned gas firm PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (PGN) Tbk, under its Employee Voluntary Program (EVP), planted one thousand mangrove trees at the Mangrove Pandan Alas tourist site in Sriminosari village, East Lampung district, on Tuesday.

"The tree planting activity is a manifestation of PNG's social and environmental responsibility in a sustainable way," chief of PGN’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) division, Anak Agung Raka Haryana, said.

Hopefully, the mangrove trees planted in the vicinity of Labuhan Maringgai Gas Station will benefit local residents, help mitigate climate change, and prevent seawater abrasion, he added.
