Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology has provided assistance to 235 villages throughout 2022 in order to promote culture through the Advancement of Village Culture Program.

The ministry in a press release on Friday said the program was a joint work platform to build a sustainable independent village through increasing cultural resilience and village cultural contributions.

Through this program, the community and village government are supported to apply a cultural approach in preparing village development plans.

The Village Culture Advancement Program in 2022 also includes the bestowment of the Village Culture Award to laud residents and the village government that have successfully developed a cultural ecosystem in the village and contributed to advancing the village culture.
