The speaker is sanguine that cooperation between PPATK and electoral organizers, particularly the General Elections Commission (KPU) and the General Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu), could minimize and prevent violations of election campaign funding.
Apart from coordinating with PPATK, Soesatyo also suggested a task force to be established between the KPU, Bawaslu, PPATK, and Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to enhance the prevention and handling of campaign funding violations and misuse.
"Considering the prevalence of money politics in elections, it requires multiple parties in addressing the issue," he noted.
Electoral organizers must be more mindful of the modus operandi of election finance violations, he stated while pointing out that Bawaslu should be more active to inform about election regulations to participants to reduce violations and misuse of campaign funding.

"Electoral organizers should ensure that elections in Indonesia would be an election with integrity," Soesatyo underscored.
The MPR RI speaker's remarks were made in response to PPATK's information highlighting seven modus operandi of violations of election campaign fund pooling most commonly found during general elections.
One of the modus operandi unveiled by the PPATK is the use of a personal banking account to receive political donations rather than the special banking account for campaign funds, as required by law.
