Jakarta (ANTARA) - Minister of National Planning and Development (Bappenas) Suharso Monoarfa stated here on Thursday that six corruption prevention actions for the 2023-2024 period are focused on state finance.

Presidential Regulation No. 54 of 2018 concerning the National Strategy for Corruption Prevention (Stranas PK) mandates that the action plan be arranged every two years.

The implementation of Stranas PK has entered its third period, with the action plan for 2023-2024 being launched on December 20, 2022.

"The strategy consists of 15 action plans based on three focuses. The first focus is business licensing and administration, the second is state finance, and (the third) is bureaucratic reform and law enforcement," Monoarfa stated at the signing of the commitment to implement Stranas PK.

He said, Bappenas, which is a member of the Corruption Prevention National Team, will focus on state finance.

The first preventive action is to strengthen digitalization, planning, budgeting, and reporting for synergizing extreme poverty alleviation programs.

The second is improving the performance of spending on development by increasing the effectiveness of government procurement audits.

The third is strengthening the governance of non-tax revenue (PNBP), especially in mineral and coal commodities.

Corruption prevention actions related to state finances will focus on reducing the risk of state revenue leakage by structuring the central government's fixed assets and strengthening political parties in preventing corruption.

Moreover, the action plan is aimed at optimizing data interoperability based on the citizens' identity card numbers (NIK) used for government programs.

Furthermore, the performance of corruption prevention actions will be monitored every three months through the jaga.id application at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).

"All of these will be reported to the president by the national team every six months or at any time the president orders," Monoarfa stated.
