He made this statement in response to the death of 772 Indonesian people in Saudi Arabia during this year's Hajj pilgrimage, the highest figure since 2015.
He explained that the pilgrim deaths were caused by several factors, including the large number of elderly pilgrims, the hot weather in during the pilgrimage, and the organizers' lack of readiness in dealing with a large number of elderly pilgrims and the hot weather.
He also emphasized the need to evaluate these factors and take anticipatory measures for organizing the Hajj pilgrimage in the coming years.
"Apart from this year's evaluation, we must anticipate what will happen next year," Amin emphasized.
He also highlighted that several challenges and other problems that may occur in the upcoming Hajj pilgrimage must be resolved with alternative solutions.
"Solving previous problems and the upcoming problems requires different approaches. We must be prepared for that. The evaluation carried out must be perfect and optimal," he added.
