In a statement received here on Thursday, the minister informed that he led the leadership meeting on the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ Evaluation of the 2023 Budget Implementation and Preparation for 2024 Activities at Wisma Kemenpora, Senayan, Jakarta.
“I want all programs to run smoothly and impact the public directly in both youth and sports aspects,” the minister stated.
“Do not forget that next year, the 2024 National Sports Week (PON) will be held in Aceh and North Sumatra. The event needs to be given due attention to make it a success," he added.
At the meeting, which was attended by all echelon I and II staff, special staff, and ministerial experts, Minister Ariotedjo emphasized the need for inter-unit collaboration to help make the youth and sports programs in 2024 a success.

“I would like to express my gratitude to all echelon I and II staff, special staff, and ministerial experts who attended this meeting. We need great inter-unit collaboration to ensure the smoothness and success of Kemenpora’s 2024 programs,” Minister Ariotedjo stated.
“Thus, I hope everyone is unified in conducting youth and sports programs,” he added.
The youth programs that will be the focus of the ministry in 2024 include the Komunitas Fest (Community Fest), Pesta Prestasi (Achievement Party), Muda Memilih (Youth Should Elect), Kreativesia, Olah Rasa, Prestasi Hub (Achievement Hub), the Indonesian Youth Festival, and the commemoration of the 2024 Youth Pledge Day.
In sports, the flagship programs include the inter-village championship (Tarkam), Sport Management School (SMASH), LPDP scholarship and Social Health Insurance (BPJS) for athletes, Medali dari Warga (Medals from the People), and the 2024 National Sports Day peak.
Minister Ariotedjo said he expects the program to be conducted well and to directly impact the public. The 2024 Aceh-North Sumatra National Sports Week is also expected to be successful.
