Jakarta (ANTARA) - Coordinator of the President's Special Staff, Ari Dwipayana, denied a rumor that President Joko Widodo would inaugurate several ministries at the new capital (IKN) Nusantara in the near future.

"There is no agenda for the inauguration of new ministers in the IKN as the rumors have been circulating," Dwipayana confirmed via text message on Tuesday.

His statement was made in response to the news circulating about Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, who will be rotated as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM).

Dwipayana clarified that there was no plan for a cabinet reshuffle.

"Not true. Until now, there has been no plan or agenda for a cabinet reshuffle," he stated.

President Widodo is currently continuing his agenda on the second day of his office at the Garuda Palace, IKN Nusantara, East Kalimantan.

On Tuesday, he is scheduled to meet with IKN local entrepreneurs at the Garuda Palace, IKN, at around 9:30 local time.

"The president wants to invite and provide opportunities for local entrepreneurs around the IKN to participate and welcome the future in the IKN," Yusuf Permana, the Presidential Secretariat's deputy for protocol, press, and media, stated on Monday (July 29).

The local entrepreneurs comprise the East Kalimantan Provincial Chamber of Industry and Commerce (Kadin), Balikpapan Regional Kadin, Samarinda Regional Kadin, North Penajam Paser Regional Kadin, East Kalimantan Provincial Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (Hipmi), Balikpapan Hipmi, Samarinda Hipmi, and North Penajam Paser Hipmi.

After receiving local entrepreneurs, the president would receive the ranks of the Indonesian Defense Forces (TNI) and National Police (Polri).

"President Widodo wants IKN to become a safe capital and free from any crime," Permana remarked.

He stated that the president will receive the security ranks comprising the VI/MLW Military Commander, the East Kalimantan Regional Police Chief, the 091/ASN Military Commander, the 0913/North Penajam Paser Military District Commander, and the Penajam Police Chief at 10:15 WITA.
