Jakarta (ANTARA) - President-elect Prabowo Subianto began summoning ministerial candidates for his cabinet to his residence on Kertanegara Street in South Jakarta on Monday.

Figures who visited Prabowo's residence included current Industry Minister Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita and Deputy Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Raja Juli Antoni.

The two figures did not interact with the media crew and headed straight to Prabowo's residence for a closed-door meeting.

So far, several politicians and professionals who have arrived at Prabowo's residence include Prasetyo Hadi, Sugiono, Widiyanti Putri Wardhana, Natalius Pigai, Yandri Susanto, Fadli Zon, Nusron Wahid, Saefullah Yusuf, Maruarar Sirait, Abdul Kadir Karding, Wihaji, Teuku Riefky Harsya, Arifatul Choiri Fauzi, Yassierli, Satryo Soemantri, and Abdul Mu'ti.

In addition, several ministers of President Joko Widodo's administration such as Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Minister Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), Home Minister Tito Karnavian, Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan, and Investment Minister Bahlil Lahadalia were seen visiting Prabowo's residence.

Each of them spent around 15-20 minutes at the residence.

From the list of names of Prabowo's ministerial candidates, AHY explained that they were summoned to Kertanegara to meet Prabowo in turn.

AHY admitted to receiving a strategic task from Prabowo, though he was reluctant to disclose the position assigned by the president-elect.

"I myself was asked to be able to help carry out a strategic role in the future, and of course, on behalf of myself, my family, and the extended family of the Democratic Party, I express my gratitude for the trust," he stated.

"I am ready to carry out the tasks that will be entrusted (to me) in the future," he added.

AHY noted that Prabowo expressed his desire to ensure that future development is more successful.

"(It includes) physical and human resource development. I think that is an inseparable part. If everything is successful, (then) of course, the advanced Indonesia that we aspire for can be realized," AHY said.

Prabowo and Gibran Rakabuming Raka will be sworn in as the new president and vice president of Indonesia on October 20, replacing President Joko 'Jokowi' Widodo and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.
