"Please make the best preparations. He (the president) will monitor from various angles and conduct reviews at various locations," said Dadan Hindayana, head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), after a meeting with the House of Representatives (DPR) on Monday.
He assured that his agency would conduct daily evaluations of the program.
Joint supervision will be the focus of the BGN in overseeing the program's implementation in all regions of the country, he added.
BGN will ensure that procurements for the program remain under its control, adding that the program prioritizes quality.
The agency officially rolled out the Free Nutritious Meals program on Monday.
