"This festival involves more than 100 leading micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the sectors of food and beverage, craft, fashion, and coffee, and targets a transaction value of up to Rp 4.2 billion," Head of the BI Representative Office in North Sulawesi Province Joko Supratikto stated in Manado on Thursday.
He expressed hope that this festival would serve as a strong catalyst to improve the quality of MSMEs' products. By participating in this event, MSMEs can gain exposure, receive valuable feedback, and learn about best practices, all of which can help improve their product quality and competitiveness, to enter export markets.
The 2025 Urban Digifest is a collaborative effort between the BI Representative Office in North Sulawesi and strategic partners to make the province advanced, prosperous, and sustainable.
The festival, themed "Rupa Rasa Kawanua: Harmonization of Taste and Culture, Exoticism of Kawanua for Indonesia," showcases the richness of culture, cuisine, and creative economic potential of North Sulawesi.
BI, along with the Ministry of Creative Economy, the North Sulawesi Provincial Government, and the North Sulawesi Provincial Regional National Crafts Council (Dekranasda), launched the 2025 Urban Digifest at the Atrium Mantos 1, Manado City, as part of the Pre-Event Series of the Indonesian Digital Finance Economic Festival (FEKDI) and the Road to Indonesia Creative Works (KKI).
He stated that the activity represents concrete synergy and collaboration to strengthen an inclusive and sustainable digital economy and finance sector in Eastern Indonesia.
