Jakarta (ANTARA) - Indonesia’s Ministry of Manpower is enhancing the integrity of foreign worker licensing and occupational safety and health (OSH) services by signing an integrity pact with 114 companies.

These companies include providers of foreign worker permit services, OSH service firms, and OSH management system audit institutions. The signing took place simultaneously in Jakarta and Surabaya on Thursday.

“This is a shared commitment to uphold ethics, compliance, and responsibility in all aspects of service,” Manpower Minister Yassierli said in an official statement on Friday.

He noted that the pact reflects the business sector’s commitment to the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), aimed at ensuring clean, transparent public services, free from illicit gratuities and administrative irregularities.

The initiative also involves three directorates within the Ministry of Manpower that handle public services.

Indira, the minister’s special staff member, said the signing aligns with directives from President Prabowo Subianto to deliver public services rooted in integrity.

“This effort is part of a broader commitment to building a better Indonesia, strengthening public institutions, and improving the quality of OSH services,” she explained.

Meanwhile, Director General of Manpower and OSH Supervision Fahrurozi emphasized that the ministry will carry out regular monitoring and evaluation to ensure continued compliance.

“Strict sanctions will be imposed on any party found to have violated the integrity pact,” he warned.
