"We are ready to support the distribution of KUR in the housing sector for the benefit of the Indonesian people," Deputy Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Kartika Wirjoatmodjo stated here on Tuesday.
Wirjoatmodjo expressed hope that the Association of State-Owned Banks (Himbara) would support the program. Himbara has experience as a distributor of KUR and Housing Financing Liquidity Facility (FLPP).
"We hope that this KUR distribution will be well-targeted and will also benefit MSME developers, enabling them to grow into large-scale developers," he stated.
As earlier reported, Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas (PKP) Maruarar Sirait aims to complete the ministerial regulation on People's Business Credit (KUR) in the housing sector by July.

The ministry is coordinating with various relevant parties to draft a ministerial regulation on People's Business Credit (KUR) in the housing sector in Indonesia.
This initiative follows a meeting between the PKP minister, the coordinating minister for economic affairs, and the finance minister, which discussed the plan to distribute KUR in the housing sector at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs office yesterday.
The PKP Ministry supports the implementation of the three million housing program, as well as the construction and renovation of homes to ensure affordable housing for the public.
The ministry is also working with the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs and related ministries or institutions to ensure the successful distribution of KUR in the housing sector.
The Danantara Indonesia Investment Management Agency will allocate Rp130 trillion for KUR in the housing sector.
