In a post on her official Instagram account @smindrawati on Monday, the minister uploaded images showing her shaking hands with President Prabowo Subianto, the President delivering a speech, and the atmosphere inside the meeting room.
“On Sunday afternoon, I attended the Indonesia Maju Cabinet Meeting at the Presidential Palace, led by President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka,” she wrote.
She stated that the meeting discussed recent social, political, and security developments, along with strategic and coordinated measures to restore public order, national stability, and security.
She emphasized that the government respects public aspirations, criticisms, and input, which serve as a basis for continuous improvement, while upholding the values of unity and mutual cooperation.
“In a democratic system, differences in views and opinions are normal. Building Indonesia in line with the 1945 Constitution and pursuing transformation is a complex, long, and challenging process. It requires a government free from corruption, driven by mutual cooperation, and committed to unity and stability,” she stated.
On behalf of the government, she expressed gratitude to the public for expressing their aspirations in a peaceful and orderly manner.
The government, she added, remains committed to safeguarding national stability as a key for Indonesia’s development and transformation.
Earlier, Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto dismissed speculation surrounding Indrawati's resignation from the cabinet.
The issue emerged amid growing public attention toward the minister’s political stance, following a burglary at her residence on Sunday's early morning.
