Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya said on Saturday that the trip was primarily aimed at attending the 80th United Nations (UN) General Assembly in New York, United States.
Japan was the President's first stop, where he visited the Indonesian Pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025. According to Minister of National Development Planning Rachmat Pambudy, the five-year event has secured US$23.8 billion (Rp397.5 trillion) in investment pledges for Indonesia.
In the United States, Prabowo delivered the third address at the UN General Assembly, following speeches by Brazil and the United States.
"This morning, French President Emmanuel Macron called President Prabowo and expressed his appreciation for the President's speech," Wijaya said.
Prabowo also met FIFA President Gianni Infantino, who reaffirmed his support for the development of Indonesia's youth football academies.
The President then traveled to Canada, where he was welcomed by Governor General Mary Simon and met with Prime Minister Mark Carney. The visit resulted in the signing of the Indonesia–Canada Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (ICA-CEPA).
Under the agreement, Canada will ease 90.5 percent of tariffs on Indonesian goods and products. Wijaya said the deal would significantly boost Indonesia's import and trade performance.
In the Netherlands, Prabowo was received by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima at the Huis ten Bosch Palace. The talks strengthened bilateral ties and led to the Dutch government's agreement to return around 30,000 historical Javanese artifacts, fossils, and documents.
"The process will be carried out soon, with the Minister of Culture finalizing the necessary documents and ensuring their immediate return," Wijaya stated.
