In a statement in Jakarta on Sunday, he stated that Indonesia's participation at the meeting in Davos, Switzerland, from January 19–23 involves the Ministry of Investment and Downstreaming, the national investment management agency Danantara Indonesia, and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin).
He explained that the participation of these institutions is part of a long-term effort to promote national investment potential and strengthen Indonesia’s position as a strategic global partner amid shifting economic trends.
According to him, the WEF is a vital platform for Indonesia to outline its policy direction and national readiness in addressing global challenges.
"The WEF is an excellent opportunity for Indonesia to share our national narrative and plans with the global community. This includes highlighting new policies and regulations as a signal that Indonesia continues moving forward," he remarked.
Furthermore, Roeslani noted that at this year's annual meeting, themed "A Spirit of Dialogue," Indonesia is positioning itself as a constructive and solution-oriented partner for dialogue.
The Indonesian government reaffirms its commitment to promoting economic stability, policy certainty, and competitive long-term investment as a foundation for enhancing national competitiveness.
At the meeting, Indonesia will again raise the Indonesia Incorporated approach through synergy between the government, state asset managers, and the business community.
The Indonesia Pavilion, themed "Indonesia Endless Horizons," serves as an integrated investment promotion hub, underscoring Indonesia's commitment to building sustainable and inclusive development.
Indonesia will host Indonesia Night as an informal economic diplomacy space, bringing together world leaders, global investors, and international business players.
Through cultural and artistic performances, Indonesia asserts its identity as a nation with a rich cultural heritage while positioning itself as a global partner open to sustainable and green economy-oriented collaborations.
