John is a CIA agent whose activities are known to members of the Judicial Mafia Eradication Task ForceJakarta (ANTARA News) - Former taxman Gayus HP Tambunan mentioned US CIA agent John Jerome Grice in his legal case after a court session here on Wednesday.
"John is a CIA agent whose activities are known to members of the Judicial Mafia Eradication Task Force," Gayus said after the court session at the South Jakarta District Court.
Gayus HP Tambunan also accused the task force secretary, Denny Indrayana, of being the culprit behind his legal case so that he was sentenced to seven years in jail.
He said Denny Indrayana once promised him to be a whistle blower when they both met in Singapore.
"But in reality, Denny cornered me, including Aburizal Bakrie," he said.
Denny even suggested that senior lawyer Adnan Buyung Nasution be his lawyer. "But he cornered me and Buyung," he said.
He said actually Denny did not handle the corruption case in the taxation directorate general or the case of Prosecutor Cirus Sinaga with regard to the Antasar Azhar case.
Gayus , a former tax official, was sentenced to seven years for tax evasion and corruption on Wednesday. After the court session Gayus made a statement accusing the task force of having played a big role in the investigation that led to his conviction.(*)
