"The president met Jusuf Kalla at 2.00 pm at the Presidential Palace to discuss non political matters," Julian said here Wednesday.
Julian did not give the details of the talks. He merely said the one hour meeting was to strengthen their relationship.
"I didn`t attend the meeting, but I think they discussed positive social matters," he said.
He confirmed that he couldn`t mention whether the President asked for Kalla`s suggestion on the polemics in the country.
He said Yudhoyono and Kalla had met several times after Kalla was no longer vice president.
Julian said, Jusuf Kalla put himself as individual actor in the talks.
